How to participate to a virtual job fair

Before the event

  • To participate, you will need to register and complete your profile.
  • Upload your resume and / or record a video clip to introduce yourself in seconds. The more complete and precise your profile is, the more likely you are to gain attention.
  • If you want to participate in the event without being visible to employers, you can choose to put your profile public or private for more discretion.
  • Regularly check the list of exhibitors and available jobs to see new additions.
  • Prepare and learn about the exhibitors and the different jobs they offer.

During the event

  • Log in to the virtual platform.
  • It's possible to have help to prepare yourself before meeting with employers. To do this, visit the job search support stand as soon as you arrive on the virtual platform.
  • Browse the platform to find employers and available jobs and apply directly on the platform or chat directly with recruiters.

After the event

  • Take the time to follow up briefly on the phone with the people you met on the chat, in order to thank them and remind them of your interest and your skills.
  • If you still haven't found a job, come back to the site and continue to apply for other positions. You can also continue to chat with the employers but the response time will not be as fast as during the event.
